Augmented Reality in Research

AEMULUS-XR is discussing research topics with Department of War agencies and academic partners. The hardware of META Quest 3 and PRO can track vital signs, eye movement, and link with various wearable technologies to measure stressors. Stressors such as the expansion of female Service Members in combat arms units, as discussed in the paper attached, multiple casualties as in a casualty collection point, or simply monitoring eye movement to reference material or treatment procedures will elicit information to improve performance. Performance improvement can present as clinical practice guideline edits, medical equipment recommendation adjustment, or individual critical task refinement.
