TRAINING OVERVIEW
AEMULUS-XR utilizes Augmented Reality to support didactic and psychomotor training in the military and civilian medical fields. Training covers Military Medical, Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) pre-hospital, Civilian Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), and Teleconsultation training in the simulated and real-world.

MILITARY MEDICAL TRAINING
AEMULUS-XR utilizes the deployedmedicine.com skill progression of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Tiers 1 - 4. AEMULUS-XR will expand training and assessment scenarios to full mission profile of the continuum of care with multiplayer, OSCE, canine, prolonged care, and patient hand-over. Improved education capability with videos, PowerPoints, and PDF references, anatomic layering, physiological engine with augmented monitoring.
-
AEMULUS-XR is developing Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for screening medical personnel based the Algorithm Directed Troop Medical Care (ADTMC).
-
OSCE is a performance-based test designed to assess the clinical competence, a user’s ability to apply medical knowledge, communicate effectively with patients, perform physical examinations, and demonstrate clinical reasoning in a standardized setting.
-
AEMULUS-XR will create clinic medical scenarios. Users interact with augmented patients presenting with various signs and symptoms across multiple timed stations. AEMULUS-XR will incorporate electronic health record emulators for Defense Health Agency documentation solutions to screen, triage, and disposition patients.

-
AEMULUS-XR is developing the capability for remote medical personnel to share first-person view to a consultant for guidance in the treatment of the injured or ill.
-
In a connected environment, basic healthcare consultation delivers synchronous audio discussion and first-person viewing through the user headset. Advanced healthcare consultation allows the consultant to enter the user environment as an augmented multiplayer to "first assist" in the care of a remote patient, as needed.
-
In a disconnected, degraded, intermittent, or low band width environment, the AI Instructor will be able to recognize the user voice to prompt a search of the PDF, video, and PowerPoint reference library from the deployedmedicine.com site, jts.health.mil site, and other clinical practice guideline reference stored on the headset.
